Profile:
Hasanuddin Molo is a senior lecturer in the Department of Forestry at University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. He is a chief of the Forest and Environment Policy Laboratory and also a director of the educational forest at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar.
He is experienced in community-based forest management, environmental impact assessment, and policies related to forests and the environment.
He is certified as an environmental impact assessor, registered professional engineer, and forestry auditor.
Research focus:
1. Community-Based Forest Management,
2. Forest community empowerment and engagement in watershed management
3. Conflicts and Collaboration in Forest Management
4. Environmental Impact Assessment and Policies Related to Forest and Environment,
5. Institutional and Partnership in Forest Management for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation
