Profile:
M. Daud is an experienced lecturer, researcher, and consultant with a demonstrated history of working in higher education institutions. He is the Chief of Forest Products Utilization Laboratory, Department of Forestry. He also serves as the Vice Director of Education Forest, The University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. He is skilled in Non-Timber Forest Products, Bioenergy, Forest Biomass and Carbon Dynamics, Climate Change Mitigation, and Environmental Impact Assessment of Forest Products Processing.
He is a Certified Professional Lecturer, Registered Professional Engineer, Lead Environmental Impact Assessor, Forestry Auditor, Standard Operating Procedure Analyst, Excellent Trainer Professional, and Occupational Safety and Health Expert. He is a Climate Reality Leader, trained by The Climate Reality Project to educate and advocate climate change solutions available today. He also is a talented statistical analyst, especially in forestry research and relevant studies. He has experience in volunteering for forest community engagement and empowerment, environmental advocacy, and climate change education.
