Profile:
Dr Sultan is a Lecturer at the Department of Forestry. His focus on soil especially composition and soil horizon, also activity on human influences, such as deforestation, logging, and inappropriate land management practices, can have a significant impact on forest soils. These activities can cause soil erosion, loss of organic matter, nutrient depletion, and changes in soil structure. When studying forest soils, consider exploring topics such as the effects of different tree species on soil properties, the role of soil microorganisms in bad cycling, methods of preventing soil erosion, or the impact of climate change on forest soils.
