About

Rahmat Ariandi is a lecturer in the Department of Forestry at Muhammadiyah University Makassar. He serves as head of the Social Forestry Laboratory at Muhammadiyah University Makassar.
He has experience in community-based forest management and assisting forest farmer groups in forest and land rehabilitation activities.

Research focus:
1. Community-based forest management,
2. Agroforestry development strategies,
3. Sustainable ecotourism management.

2. Boundary Measurement Team in Agroforestry and Community Nursery (KBR) Forest Programme IV Activities in Mamasa Regency

4. Socio-economic expert at PT. Duta Rekatama Persada in the activities of Social Preconditioning of Rehabilitation Locations and Preparation of Technical Designs (Rantek) for Rehabilitation (P0) covering an area of 750 ha FP IV
5. Social and Economic Expert at PT. Duta Rekatama Persada for social preconditioning of rehabilitation sites and preparation of technical designs (Rantek) for rehabilitation (P1) covering an area of 1,000 ha FP IV
6. Social and economic expert in the Forest Rehabilitation activity in the Social Forestry area of Latimojong Village, Enrekang Regency, together with TLKM and The Asia Foundation (TAF)
