The academic community of the Forestry Study Programme at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar proudly congratulates the lecturers who have been awarded the RISET-MU Batch IX 2025 Research and Community Service Grants.
This year, two outstanding young lecturers have earned the trust to conduct research and community engagement through this competitive grant scheme.
The first lecturer, Ir. Jauhar Mukti, S.Hut., M.Hut., IPM, has been selected under the Regular Fundamental Research II category. The proposed research is expected to contribute academically and scientifically to the advancement of forestry science, as well as to enhance the quality of research within the university environment.
Meanwhile, Rahmat Ariandi, S.Hut., M.Hut., has succeeded in securing a grant under the Community Service within the Muhammadiyah Organisation scheme. The planned community service activities are designed to generate positive impacts for local communities, particularly in the fields of forestry, environmental stewardship, and community-based empowerment.
The success of these two lecturers demonstrates the growing quality of human resources within the Forestry Study Programme at Unismuh Makassar, reflecting a steadfast commitment to making tangible contributions to science, society, and the Muhammadiyah organisation.
The Forestry Study Programme hopes that this achievement will serve as a source of motivation for both lecturers and students to continue producing meaningful work, enhance their accomplishments, and strengthen the culture of research and community service within the academic setting.
