After an interview process facilitated by Tecsupo Japan on Friday (5/9/2025), the official selection results were announced on Monday (22/9/2025). Among the participants, two students were successful, one of whom comes from the Forestry Study Programme at Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar.
The student is Zulkarnain, class of 2023 in the Forestry Study Programme. He has been declared eligible to take part in a one-year international internship at Yamada Forestry in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. This programme offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable forest management, while also broadening their global perspective in the field of forestry.
“This is a source of pride for the study programme, as our students are able to compete at an international level and secure valuable opportunities,” said the Head of the Forestry Study Programme, Jauhar Mukti.
Through this programme, students are expected to enhance their competencies both academically and practically, and to bring back knowledge that can be applied to support forest management in Indonesia.
