Makassar – The Forestry Study Programme of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Islam Makassar (UIM), conducted a benchmarking visit to the Forestry Study Programme of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (Unismuh Makassar), concerning the development of Forest Areas with Special Purposes (KHDTK).
The activity, held on Thursday, 18 December 2025, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unismuh Makassar, was attended by lecturers and study programme administrators from both universities. The discussion focused on the KHDTK proposal process, educational forest management models, and the integration of KHDTK into the three pillars of higher education (tridharma).
Through this activity, it is hoped that closer academic cooperation will be established and that it will serve as a reference for the UIM Forestry Study Programme in developing KHDTK as a sustainable means for learning, research, and community service.
