The Forestry futsal team, strengthened by students from the 2024 intake, successfully clinched the champion title at the Dean's Cup 2025 Futsal Competition. The final match took place on Friday, 21 November 2025, marking the conclusion of a series of activities held over three days, from 19–21 November 2025.
Organised by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, the event saw participation from various teams, including lecturers, alumni, and students across different cohorts. Beyond serving as a platform for sporting competition, the Dean's Cup also provided a means to strengthen camaraderie among the academic community.
This year's success of the Forestry futsal team not only adds pride to the department but also serves as motivation for students to continue developing non-academic achievements within the campus environment. This championship also complements the Forestry students' achievements, having won the Dean's Cup for two consecutive years. Ir. Jauhar Mukti, S.Hut., M.Hut., IPM, as Head of the Forestry Study Programme, highly appreciates the Forestry students who have become champions and participated in every such activity. This signifies that Forestry students possess talents worthy of appreciation and facilitation in the future.
